Thomas McKay, CLU, is Vice President of Adviser Development for Centra Financial Group. In his role, Tom helps Centra's advisers expand their knowledge so they can help their clients achieve their financial objectives. He specializes in the creative use of Life Insurance in Income & Asset Protection, Legacy Planning, Long Term Care Planning, Wealth Transfer, Business Succession, and Non-Qualified Employee Benefits.
Tom has over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry with leading companies such as Northwestern Mutual and The Guardian. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College in 1994 and a B.S.B.A. degree from the University of Denver in 1983. He is a member of The Society of Financial Service Professionals. He has served on the Canandaigua City Schools Board of Education and has been involved in several booster clubs at Pittsford Sutherland High School.
He is Insurance licensed in New York and is a Registered Representative of Hornor, Townsend & Kent.
Tom and his wife Lisa live in Pittsford, New York, and they have 3 grown sons.
